
superfood energy balls

ingredients:
1 1/4 cup rolled oats
1 packet of protein (i use human improvement protein)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1/2 cup nut butter
1/3 cup of maple syrup
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp kosher salt
optional add-ins: chocolate chips, walnuts, pecans, etc.
instructions:
place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. stir to combine - it should be somewhat sticky and hold together when lightly squeezed.
place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 min to let the dough set to make it easier to roll.
remove the bowl from the refrigerator and portion the dough into balls of the desired size
enjoy!
***if mixture seems to wet then add in a bit more oats/if it's too dry add in a bit more nut butter
