dates, almonds, prebiotic tapioca fiber, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, coconut, flaxseed, grass-fed new zealand whey, hemp hearts, sea salt, vanilla extract.
that's the whole list. eleven things, seven of them plants, and dates doing all of the sweetening.
almonds and coconut, plus grass-fed whey. not a vegan bar, and we'd rather say so than bury it.
made in a facility that also processes gluten, so we don't call it certified gluten-free.
no cane sugar, no syrups, no alcohols, no stevia finish.

the things people ask.
what actually is a glo_ bar?
a whole-food bar with 15g of protein, 15g of fiber and around 300 calories. closer to a small meal than a snack, and built to be chewed rather than dissolved.
is it a meal replacement?
it holds as a meal for a lot of people — that's what the protein and fiber are doing. whether it replaces lunch or sits between meals depends on your day, and we'd rather you decide that than have us decide it for you.
is it vegan?
no. the protein is grass-fed new zealand whey, because it's what tests best for texture and for how the bar actually sits. a plant protein version is a real question we get and a real thing we're working on.
is it gluten-free?
there are no gluten-containing ingredients in it. it's produced in a facility that also handles gluten, so it isn't certified, and if you're coeliac that distinction matters.
how do i store them?
room temperature holds for two to three months. in the fridge they'll keep up to six, and honestly the texture is better cold.
why dates instead of a sweetener?
dates bring fiber and structure with the sweetness, so they're doing three jobs at once. a syrup would only do one, and cheaper.
where else can i buy them?
community goods in los angeles and cafe lyria in new york, grove grocer in miami, plus here. if you'd like them somewhere near you, tell us where — stockists mostly happen because someone asked.
do you do wholesale?
yes, for cafes, studios and hotels. the contact page is the fastest route, and put "wholesale" in the subject line.
by the baked goods at the PDC location.
by the register.
shipped anywhere across the United States.
